poinz credit

You can see your poinz credit directly on the home screen in the app under quick access, as well as in the “Cashback” category at the top under “Your balance”. On poinz.ch you can find your balance directly in your account.

The credit is divided into:

• Redeemable credit: freely available
• Blocked credit: credit from purchases at poinz partners that is not yet released due to a return period

If you also have poinz credit cards, there is an additional category called “Provisional poinz credit card balance”. This is the current cashback balance from your credit cards and will be transferred into redeemable credit once the monthly bill from Swisscard AECS GmbH has been settled.

There are three ways to redeem your collected poinz credit:

1. Digital gift cards

• Open “Cashback” in the poinz app and tap “Redeem”.
• Select “Digital vouchers & deals”, choose the desired voucher and enter the amount.
• Tap “Add to cart”, accept the terms and conditions, and choose the option to redeem your poinz credit in the cart.
• Check the details at checkout and complete the purchase with “Buy now”.

2. Deals

• Open “Cashback” > “Redeem” in the app.
• Select “Digital vouchers & deals” and then “Deals” at the top left.
• Choose the deal, tap “Add to cart” and redeem your poinz credit.
• Check the details and complete the purchase via “Buy now”.
• When purchasing deals or digital vouchers, you immediately collect cashback again. So it’s worth using both methods.

3. Payout (possible from CHF 100.– credit)

• Open “Cashback” > “Redeem” in the app.
• Tap “Payout”, enter your bank account and request the payout.
• The payout is processed within 5–7 business days.
